L.I.T. YOUTH

Closing Dates

Due to Light of the World, Sarasota offering one Sunday Service this holiday season, L.I.T Youth Ministry will be closed on the following Sundays:
December 10th
December 24th
December 31st
As opposed to having a traditional teacher-student style, our youth ministry takes the sports-style approach.

Our goal is to build up L.I.T. youth

Leaned in — Actively participate in the ministry and show spiritual growth
Intentional — Maintain good grades
Trainable — Consistently display a positive attitude and seek out leadership opportunities

Our trained volunteers, or coaches, are ready to guide your child through the bible with age-appropriate lessons pulled from The Gospel Project. Student sessions are broken up by age and grade.
Mighty Mites: Nursery to Kindergarten
Junior: Grades 1 -5
Junior Varsity: Grades 6 - 8
Varsity: Grades 9 - 12

Our trained volunteers are ready to guide your child through the bible with age-appropriate lessons pulled from The Gospel Project.

Sunday Drop Off

We ask all parents and/or authorized individuals sign-in their child(ren) during drop off at the kiosk located in the front of the children's wing. Upon check in, parents will be issued a ticket number. If your number appears at the bottom of the screen during service, your child requires immediate attention in the children's wing.

Sunday pick up

All children will be held in their appropriate classrooms until the  parent and/or authorized individual that dropped them off returns to check them out. We ask that all children are picked up within the first 10 minutes following service.
