Kelvin L. Lumpkin
Senior Pastor
Pastor Kelvin L. Lumpkin is a visionary leader, dynamic preacher, and devoted servant of God who has been called and anointed to impact the world for Jesus Christ. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Light of the World International Church in Sarasota, Florida, where he has faithfully served for more than 26 years.
Raised in a family deeply committed to ministry, Pastor Lumpkin sensed God's call upon his life at an early age. While pursuing a degree in Accounting at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, he embraced his divine assignment to preach the Gospel. An accomplished musician, he traveled throughout the United States with the renowned BCU Gospel Choir and served as an Associate Minister under the leadership of Bishop Derek T. Triplett at Hope Fellowship Church.
In obedience to God's direction, Pastor Lumpkin founded Abundant Life Christian Center in August 1999 at the age of 25. Through continued divine guidance and growth, Abundant Life Christian Center and Bethesda Outreach Ministry merged to become Light of the World International Church in 2010. In August 2016, the ministry entered its new sanctuary located on a 4.5-acre campus featuring more than 40,000 square feet of ministry space, a testament to God's faithfulness and favor.
Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Lumpkin has made a significant impact throughout the Sarasota community. His leadership roles have included serving as Director of Religious Affairs for the Sarasota Branch of the NAACP, President of the FOCUS Ministerial Alliance, Board Member of the Community Foundation of Sarasota, Police Advisory Council Member for the Sarasota Police Department, and Trustee for the State College of Florida. In recognition of his outstanding service, he received the Congressional Associate Service Award from Congressman Vern Buchanan.
Pastor Lumpkin's passion for ministry extends beyond local and national borders. He has shared the Gospel internationally in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Uganda, and India, fulfilling his commitment to reaching communities around the world with the message of hope, faith, and salvation through Jesus Christ.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bethune-Cookman University and a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union University.
Pastor Kelvin L. Lumpkin resides in Sarasota, Florida, with his beloved wife, Dali Lumpkin. Together they are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Sofia and Sanaya.

Peter Greenidge
Executive Pastor
Most noticeable about Pastor Peter Greenidge is his passion for winning lost souls and his love for God and his people. At seventeen, in his homeland Grenada, Pastor Greenidge made the decision to become a follower of Christ.
After serving and pastoring in churches from Grenada to New York, Pastor Greenidge made the move to Sarasota, Florida with his wife Pamela and their three children. For five years, he served as the Senior Pastor of Bethesda Word of Faith Church before joining with Abundant Life Christian Center to join Light of the World Sarasota where he serves as Executive Pastor.
Pastor Greenidge is passionate about investing in the lives of young people and he is very active in disciplining and preparing them for ministry. He hopes to impact the world by encouraging believers to live, love, and lead like Jesus.
